Export Performance: A Bibliometric Analysis Using VOSviewer

dc.description.abstractIn this research, studies on export performance published in the Web of Science (WoS) database are examined in detail in terms of titles such as author, citation, source (journal), country, institution, and keywords by using bibliometric analysis method and it is aimed to evaluate the relationships between them with a holistic perspective. Using the keyword "export performance" in the WoS database, 2401 results were found in the search within the scope of "all fields" and VOSviewer program was used to analyze the data. According to the results of the research; it was determined that the publications were mostly published in the field of Business Administration, the country with the highest number of publications was the United States of America, the author with the highest number of publications was "Sousa Carlos m.p", the author with the highest number of citations was "Diamantopoulos, adamantios", the studies were mostly published in the "Journal of International Marketing", the country with the highest number of citations was "United States of America" and the institution with the highest number of citations was "University of Leeds". Furthermore, it was also concluded that the most used keywords were "Export Performance", "Export", "SMEs", and "Internationalization", "China", "Innovation", "Competitiveness", "Performance", "Market Orientation" and "Resource-Based View". Since the results of the research show the general characteristics of the studies on export performance in detail, it is thought that it will make important contributions to the literature by providing an overview for future studies in this field.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, ihracat performansı konusunda Web of Science (WoS) veritabanında yayınlanmış olan çalışmalar yazar, atıf, kaynak (dergi), ülke, kurum ve anahtar kelime gibi başlıklar açısından detaylı olarak bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmiş ve aralarındaki ilişkilerin bütünsel bir bakış ile değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. WoS veri tabanında “export performance” anahtar kelimesi kullanılarak “tüm alanlar” kapsamında yapılan aramada 2401 adet sonuca ulaşılmış olup verilerin analizinde VOSviewer programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre; yayınların çoğunlukla İşletme alanında yayınlandığı, en çok yayın yapan ülkenin Amerika Birleşik Devletleri olduğu, en çok yayın yapan yazarın “Sousa Carlos m.p” olduğu, alınan atıf sayısına göre en çok atıf alan yazarın “Diamantopoulos, adamantios” olduğu, çalışmaların en çok “Journal of International Marketing”, dergisinde yayınlandığı, en çok atıf alan ülkenin “Amerika Birleşik Devletleri” olduğu, en çok atıf alan kurumun “Leeds Üniversitesi” olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, en çok kullanılan anahtar kelimelerin “İhracat Performansı”, “İhracat”, “KOBİ’ler”, ile “Uluslararasılaşma”, “Çin”, “Yenilikçilik”, “Rekabetçilik”, “Performans”, “Pazar Odaklılık” ve “Kaynak-Tabanlı Görüş” olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışma sonuçlarının ihracat performansı konusunda yapılmış olan çalışmaların genel özelliklerini detaylı olarak göstermesi nedeniyle, bu alanda gelecekte yapılacak çalışmalar için genel bir bakış ortaya koyarak alanyazına önemli katkılar sunacağı düşünülmektedir.
