The quantitative research method, descriptive research approach and survey model were used in the study. In the study, the data were collected by the questionnaire technique. The population of the research was defined as the local people living in Giresun province. In the study, the convenience sampling method was chosen from non-probability sampling methods. Data were collected between January and March of 2022. Considering the research findings, the people of Giresun generally have a positive perception of tourism.
