dc.description.abstractIn this research, it is aimed to determine the level of use of information technologies and basic psychological needs of adolescents, some socio-demographic characteristics of adolescents, the frequency of use of information technologies and their intentions. The study was carried out with the screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. Personal Information Form, Information Technologies Usage Scale, and Need Satisfaction Scale were used in the research. Data were collected from 508 adolescents in high schools in Ankara and Mersin provinces in the 2019-2020 academic year, using convenience sampling method. It was determined that the class level and the average scores obtained from the class level and the ITUS-UTDA factor and the overall ITUS were positively; the mean scores from the NSS-Competence and NSS-Relatedness factors and the mean scores from the overall, NSS were negatively and significantly correlated. From family monthly income and ITUS-UTDA factor and ITUS in overall, it was found that the mean scores obtained from the NSS-Autonomy, NSS-Competence, NSS-Relatedness factors, and the overall NSS were positively and significantly correlated. In addition, adolescents' use of technological devices and their purposes were determined. The findings were discussed within the framework of the literature and suggestions were presented.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, ergenlerin bilişim teknolojileri kullanma ve temel psikolojik ihtiyaç düzeylerinin, ergenlerin bazı sosyo-demografik özellikleri, bilişim teknolojileri kullanım sıklıklarının ve bilişim teknolojileri kullanım amaçlarının belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Bilişim Teknolojileri Kullanım Ölçeği ve İhtiyaç Doyumu Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ankara ve Mersin İllerindeki liselerde 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim döneminde, kolay ulaşılabilen örneklem yöntemiyle ulaşılan 508 ergenden veriler toplanmıştır. Sınıf düzeyi ile BTKÖ-Teknolojik Aygıtların ve Uygulamalarının Kullanımı faktöründen ve BTKÖ genelinden alınan ortalama puanların pozitif yönde; İDÖ-Yeterlik ve İDÖ-İlişkisellik faktörlerinden alınan ortalama puanların ve İDÖ genelinden alınan ortalama puanların negatif yönde anlamlı düzeyde ilişkili olduğu saptanmıştır. Aile aylık geliri ile BTKÖ- Teknolojik Aygıtların ve Uygulamalarının Kullanımı faktöründen ve BTKÖ genelinden; İDÖ-Özerklik, İDÖ-Yeterlik, İDÖ-İlişkisellik faktörlerinden ve İDÖ genelinden alınan ortalama puanların pozitif yönde anlamlı düzeyde ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca ergenlerin teknolojik aygıt kullanım sıklıkları ve teknolojik aygıt kullanım amaçları belirlenmiştir. Bulgular alanyazın çerçevesinde tartışılmış ve öneriler sunulmuştur.
