Özet
Vehicle Ad Hoc Networks (VANET) are pivotal for enhancing intelligent transportation systems, ensuring safety and comfort. VANET, with its self-organizing network, facilitates vehicle communication and coordination for safety and comfort applications. Embedded systems and sensors in vehicles collect critical road condition data, shared among vehicles for informed decision-making. Efficient routing in VANET is crucial, and diverse protocols cater to the dynamic network topology. This study provides a comprehensive evaluation of selected routing protocols through simulations, focusing on average end-to-end latency and bandwidth metrics. The findings offer insights into the strengths and limitations of various protocols, contributing to the advancement of intelligent transportation systems.
