Özet
In this study, the ode of Gallipoli’s Ali about seyr-i süluk was examined in terms of state, existence, and perception, and the poet's journey throughout the ode was examined. Gallipoli’s Ali sees existence as a dream that needs to be interpreted and begins his journey in another dream he sees while awake. The poet, who sets out with the help he receives from his lover's rose garden, wanders in other worlds on this spiritual journey. With the state of secrecy, the mind and nature are freed from the record of corruption and find great peace. In the shiny mirror, he does not see himself and the people. He sees God, then he sees only the people, then he sees God again, then he sees himself and God, and finally, he sees himself again. The poet, who sometimes falls into şathiye (satire) under the influence of his mortal state, is in a state of contemplation when he is calm. In this journey, the poet, who wants to realize and understand the relations between God, existence, and humanity, tries to solve the enigmatic idea. He realizes the existence of the beings in countless proportions in the face of God's encompassing and incomprehensible nature, and the position of things and being mortal (Adam) in the face of the existence of God. But this does not take into account the abundance of items. She is the beloved's companion and the guest of his throne in the Almighty Throne. The poet has many witnesses on this journey, and he is only looking for himself. He aims to comprehend God by comprehending himself. This state of his also means revealing his secret and rank. The poet, who is revived by mentioning the lips of his beloved, finds the appeal at the end of the ode, returns to his state of sahv, and opens his eyes as if he woke up from sleep. © 2024, Selim Hilmi Ozkan.
