    AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ ÜYESİ ÜLKELERİNİN LOJİSTİK PERFORMANSLARI İLE SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİK DÜZEYLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

    Küresel köy haline gelen dünya giderek artan iklim krizi, nüfus artışı, karbon emisyonu gibi sorunlarla karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Buna bir çözüm olarak görülen sürdürülebilirlik felsefesinin benimsenmesi, adeta bir zorunluluk haline gelmiştir. Farklı gelişmişlik seviyesindeki toplumlarda sürdürülebilir kalkınmada öne çıkan alanlardan biri de lojistik sektörüdür. Bu doğrultuda, Dünya Ticaretinde önemli bir yeri olan Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinin lojistik performansları ile sürdürülebilirliğin çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyal boyutları arasındaki ilişkinin tespit edilmesi ve bunların karşılaştırılması, araştırmanın temel motivasyonunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda çalışmada öncelikle Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinin, sürdürülebilirlik düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde etkili olacağı değerlendirilen 14 kritere ait veriler Dünya Bankası web sitesinden derlenmiştir. Kriterlerin ağırlıklandırılmasında ROC tekniği kullanılmıştır. Daha sonra bu kriter ağırlıkları ve 2018 yılına ait kriter değerleri kullanılarak OCRA tekniği yardımıyla Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinin sürdürülebilirlik düzeylerine söre sıralaması yapılmıştır. Nihayet Lojistik Performans Endeksi ile sürdürülebilirlik düzeyleri arasında yapılan karşılaştırma sonucunda iki veri seti arasında pozitif ve düşük düzeyde bir korelasyon tespit edilmiştir.

    Problems Experienced by Graduate Students in the Department of International Trade and Logistics

    Graduate education, which enables the production of scientific knowledge, the training of scientists and the introduction of senior sector managers into business life, has a decisive role in the development of countries. Students, who are one of the building blocks of graduate education, may encounter many problems during their education. The aim of this study is to identify the problems faced by the students who receive master's and doctorate education in the department of International Trade and Logistics during their graduate education processes and to develop solutions to eliminate these problems. The study group of the research consists of 25 ITL postgraduate students studying at various universities, determined through maximum variation sampling. The in-depth interview method was used to explore students' perceptions. The collected data were analyzed in the MAXQDA 2022 program, and descriptive and content nalysis were performed. According to the results, the participants in the postgraduate education process experienced individual, field-related, university-based, academic staff and legislation-related difficulties. The majority of the students faced difficulties in terms of time management, access to data and transition to online education. Accordingly, the participants mostly want their departments to add practical courses in the field of ITL, to establish cooperation between the university and the industry, and to enrich the course content related to logistics and research methods. This study is expected to contribute to both the literature and the education given in the ITL departments by revealing the problems that need to be adressed in ITL graduate education.
